Kairos rocks it at the National LCMS Youth Gathering
At the 2025 National Youth Gathering, hosted at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans, Inspirmedia again provided the Video production. Our Panasonic Kairos system was at the center of the production, managing 16 cameras, media servers, and several pro presenter machines. The LED wall was provided by Special Event Services (a CSG company), and consisted of two portrait walls that were each 50 foot tall and 30 foot wide, and a large 60 foot wide center wall. We also had outputs for streaming, confidence monitors, recording, and an open caption feed for the house.
Using one Kairos 200 core, we were able to manage all of the LED wall as a large canvas, with one director handling content management on the LED walls with a large control surface, and another director handling the stream with a smaller control surface.
Our camera lineup consisted of two of our 30 foot camera cranes, two handheld cameras, and three cameras on tripods. These were all Panasonic UC-4000 cameras. The front of house cameras had 76X and 86X Canon box lenses. We had four of the UE-160 PTZ cameras in the lighting grid above the audience, and six DataVideo PTZ cameras amongst the band.
This system allowed a major step forward in the Video production of this youth gathering, allowing cameras and graphics to spread out across multiple displays.
